Balayage describes the gradual blending of one color to another, usually moving from dark to light. The technique is commonly seen as a surface treatment in fashion and art. This French technique call balayage provides a more gentle way to highlight the hair as it creates the effect of natural sun kiss hair it has become a big trend.
The results look very natural; it’s the best solution to give hair sun kiss effects, without damage to the hair. My clients love the low maintenance as you don’t have to go to the salon every 5 to 6 weeks to maintain the look. Balayage looks amazing on blonds, and brunettes. On dark hair it looks great also, but I recommend doing a balayage that is no lighter the 2 shades.
Ombré hair effects has become a trendy coloring technique .The idea is to color the lengths so as to have a gradient color effect throughout the hair with the emphasizing a lightening or a darkening effect towards the ends of the hair. This technique is especially great for brunettes with a base color of light to dark brown hair,
Tortoise Shell This year the ‘is another new technique call Tortoise Shell, that is to add on light blonde hair small dark gradients’ of darker hues of color, the results are very subtle, a beautiful contrast of light and shadow. This technique allows to illuminating the natural color of the hair giving dimensional haircolor results. Note for blonde’s it’s an excellent compromise for those who want to change color while avoiding a radical transformation. The ‘are advantages there is no need to touch up the roots because you will not see a visible demarcation.
